Ralph sometimes needs extra help learning to do new things because he has a developmental disability called Down Syndrome. But he always has fun and tries his best.

- He has a big brother and a big sister who like to help him. But he tries to do everything he can by himself.
- On birthdays and holidays, Ralph and his family sing songs while his dad plays the piano. Ralph is a good singer.
- He is learning to play the piano like his dad. Ralph practices a lot.
- Ralph looks forward to winter. Cold weather is best for his favorite sports, skiing and ice skating!
- Ralph likes to help his mom in the garden. He especially likes to pick the vegetables when they are ripe.
- Ralph always has a big smile for his friends.
